This is a happy New Year's Day 
Here is where it begins 
The sting of the cold I remember 
Only how little I noticed how bad it could hurt 

I will see you on Easter 
I see the rain stop 
Confirmation, is it only a symbol? 
Made to be deadly in a little boy's eyes 

Soon it will be summer 
Something would scream at me atop that hill 
A few days was it's existence
